The Avalon Communications team is dedicated to getting you results!

At Avalon we focus on the overall picture and strive to position you and your company in the media in order to generate ongoing coverage and increase public visibility. We are a small firm working with a select group of clients. Our goal is to work hands-on as an essential part of your company rather than a distant third party that is unable to give you the focus and attention that you deserve.

Kristyn has more than 9 years of experience in public and investor relations, with a focus on technology and consumer-related companies. Prior to forming Avalon Communications, Kristyn was a Director of the investor and public relations team at Thomson Financial in San Francisco, where she was responsible for developing strategic plans and increasing visibility of emerging Silicon Valley companies. Prior to her work with Thomson, Kristyn was a member of the investor/public relations department at Bellwether Exploration Company. Born and raised in Houston, TX, Kristyn is a graduate of the University of Texas, where she earned a B.A. in Public Relations.

As Director, Tricia is responsible for working closely with clients to develop effective public relations campaigns, create press materials, monitor media coverage, and manage client and press relations. Throughout her career, Tricia has worked internally as the director of public relations as well as externally where she was the head of an editorial department where she conducted research, interviews and cultivated relations within the media.
